The world has watched Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton’s only daughter, Princess Charlotte, grow up in front of their eyes over the years. Charlotte recently got to experience the concert of a lifetime when she joined her dad and older brother Prince George at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in London in June 2024. Fans of the little royal couldn’t help but notice how much she’s changed since she was welcomed into the royal family in 2015. Taking a look back, Charlotte has had quite the transformation.

Princess Charlotte’s Transformation Over the Years: Photos

Welcome to the World, Princess Charlotte!

Charlotte arrived on May 2, 2015, and shortly after, received her first photo opp. The princess was nestled in a soft yellow blanket in the arms of her mother, Kate.

Snow Bunny

At less than a year old, Charlotte enjoyed the French Alps and skiing with the family. The sweet babe was all smiles in a photo of her and Prince William on the slopes.

A Royal Tour

Princess Charlotte sported a precious blue dress, complete with a blue bow in her hair, as she joined her mom in September 2016 for the Royal Tour of Canada.

Peek-a-Boo

At 2 years old, Charlotte watched the 2017 Trooping the Colour event from afar. The little one peeked out from behind a curtain at Buckingham Palace.

Big Sister!

Princess Charlotte became a big sister in 2018 when Prince Louis arrived. Charlotte held her father’s hand as she went in to meet her new baby brother.

Little Lady

Charlotte watched the Platinum Pageant as part of the Platinum Jubilee in 2022, alongside Kate and big brother, Prince George.

“The Party at the Palace was one of the biggest Platinum Jubilee highlights for the siblings so far,” a source told Life & Style at the time. “Charlotte and George loved every minute of the evening.”

Trooping the Colour Celebration

Princess Charlotte enjoyed another Trooping the Colour event in 2023, as she and Prince Louis participated in the traditional parade.

Shortly after the 2023 event, a source told Life & Style that while Charlotte was a daddy’s girl in her younger years, she was starting to lean more on her mom as she got older.

Growing Up

2024 has proven to be a tough year all around for the royal family with both Kate and King Charles III revealing their cancer diagnoses. However, many have wondered how William and Kate’s kids were handling the news. Kate made her first public appearance since announcing her diagnosis in March 2024 at Trooping the Colour 2024, and Charlotte was right by her side.

A Certified Swiftie!

Taylor and boyfriend Travis Kelce snapped a selfie backstage with Princess Charlotte, Prince William and Prince George. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, also got to meet Charlotte and later raved about her.

“I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte,” Jason gushed on the June 26, 2024, episode of the “New Heights” Podcast. “Prince George was great too [but] she was so f–king adorable.”
