ExclusiveChristina Anstead’s Older Children ‘Picked Out a Ton of Gifts’ for Baby Hudson’s First Christmas
No sibling rivalry here! Christina Anstead’s older children, Taylor and Brayden, have embraced their newborn brother, Hudson, completely. In fact, with the holidays quickly approaching, their love has only gotten stronger.
“There’s a lot of excitement,” an insider exclusively reveals to Life & Style magazine, on newsstands now. “They decorated the tree as a family, and Hudson is obsessed with the lights and ornaments. The children all adore him. They’re one big, happy family.”
Of course, that family includes more than just Christina, 36, and her darling brood. The longtime reality star’s husband, Ant Anstead, has two teenage children of his own from a previous marriage, Amelie and Archie.
“There aren’t any jealousy issues — they all love spoiling him,” adds the source of Christina and Ant’s first baby together. “Taylor and Brayden picked out a ton of gifts for Hudson.”
Things in the Anstead house run so smoothly in no small part thanks to Christina. “She’s a great mom and treats all the children equally,” notes the insider. Plus, she’s all about being a hands-on parent, especially during this joyous time of year.
“The family all got together to make decorations — stars, angels and things like that,” continues the source. “The kids love baking, too, and had a blast making Christmas cupcakes with their mom.”
As for how Christina and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, are getting along this holiday season? “Christina and Tarek aren’t friendly enough exes to spend Christmas Day together,” says the insider of the former flames, whose HGTV series, Flip or Flop, just aired for a ninth season, “but they’re both so much happier now.”
