Get it, mama! Paola Mayfield took to Instagram on Monday, July 22, to show off her killer post-baby abs just seven (yes, seven) months after giving birth to her son, Axel, in January. In addition to flaunting her amazing figure, the90 Day Fiancé star, 31, also shared an inspiring message about her postpartum weight loss journey. Scroll through the gallery below for the full scoop!
“Transformation Monday: Two weeks postpartum vs. now (almost seven months postpartum),” Paola began her post, along with a side-by-side photo.

“Honestly, I was hesitant to post this picture. I know people are probably going to body-shame me, but I don’t care,” she continued. “I want to show the reality of a body that has gone through so many changes and of course, show you that I’m so proud of where I am right now.”

Paola then went on to explain what was especially difficult for her when trying to bounce back from her pregnancy. “The hardest part for me, was gaining back my strength because training for me isn’t just about being skinny — which can only be obtained by a caloric deficit,” she expressed.

“Being able to train like a beast … that was my goal and let me tell you, I’m getting closer and closer! I want you to see this as a motivation,” Paola confessed, adding, “Having a baby takes a lot of our time and energy, but I’m trying my best to find that time and energy to keep going and reaching my goals.”

Thanks to Paola exhibiting such vulnerability with her followers, so many of her fans flocked to the post to share words of praise and encouragement — a few even chimed in with their own post-baby weight loss stories.

“So real! Great job, momma! I started my journey three months ago and I’m down 30 pounds. Now it’s time to, like you said, train like a beast! Three kids and no more to go … so this momma is ready. You are encouraging, my goodness, thanks!” one user commented.

“You’re an inspiration. Thanks for always being so open. You’re beautiful,” added another, while fellow 90 Day star Nicole Nafziger wrote, “You look amazing, momma!”

We’re so happy to see all of this support for Paola. After all, she’s been victim to lots of body-shaming in the past. So much so, that back in March, people began to accuse Paola of undergoing plastic surgery to make her butt bigger.

However, as any 90 Day fan will tell you, Paola is never afraid to speak her mind, and decided to clap back at all of the unnecessary hate by posting a booty-baring photo on Instagram.

“This is how you buy a butt,” she began (sarcastically, we assume). “1. Pay a membership at the gym. 2. Start with these exercises!”

“Hip thrust on a smith machine while increasing weight each set 20/15/10/8,” she instructed, adding, “Front squat on a squat machine while increasing weight each set 20/15/10.”

A clapback and a workout tutorial? We stan. “Squats on a smith machine while increasing weight each set 20/15/10,” Paola continued.

Lastly, she wrote, “Hip abduction while increasing weight each set 15/10/8.” Unless Paola took the time to research all of those instructions, we’re pretty sure that’s *actually* a fitness enthusiast who is absolutely killing it at the gym.

To be clear, though, her most important priority is her beautiful baby boy and hubby, Russ Mayfield. In fact, she’s constantly gushing over little family on social media.
